Things are going really well. I want to leave this journal on a positive note, because after this my five plus years of posts will be gone and I will start fresh. It is a strange concept for me as I am a notorious clutter-bug/hoarder/pack rat and generally balk at change, but I am excited. I hold on to things for too long and this is just an extension of that bad habit. There are far too many lies, assumptions, attempts at getting attention and other nonsense that really shouldn't be in a journal. I suppose the real failure of online journals (or maybe just my own personal failure with them) is that they focus too much on having and impressing a social network. I don't want to impress anyone any more. I just want to be myself. I'm inviting those who I don't feel the need to censor or exaggerate myself for to continue reading if they wish. Thanks for years of loyalty!
